Terms of use

Welcome to LinksMango. These are the house rules, written in plain words.

They are still a real agreement between you and CartMango. By creating a page, you agree to them.

The short version

You get 1 page for all your links and products, and you keep ownership of everything on it.

Don’t use it to trick, hurt or spam anyone. Play nice, and we’ll get along great.

Your account

• You need to be 16 or older to sign up.
• 1 real person (or 1 small business) per account. Please don’t make pages pretending to be someone else.
• Keep your Google account safe, because it is your key: whoever can open your Google account can log in to your page.

Your username

• Usernames are first come, first served.
• We can refuse a username, and we can take one back. If we refuse a name that is honestly yours, email help@linksmango.com and we’ll set it for you by hand.
• If you change yours, your old address stops working straight away, and anyone can claim it after that. Update your bio links before you switch.
• We can take back a username that pretends to be a brand or a person it doesn’t belong to, or that we need for the app itself. We’ll try to talk to you first.

Your content is yours

Everything you put on your page (text, photos, links, product cards) belongs to you.

To show your page to the world, you give us permission to store it, display it, and resize your pictures. That permission ends when you delete your content or your account.

Please only upload things you have the right to use.

That selfie? Great. A photo of a famous person you found online? Not great.

Selling from your page

Product cards link to your own checkout, for example a CartMango page, a Gumroad page, or anything else. We don’t take payments, and we don’t take a cut. So:

• The sale is between you and your buyer. Delivery, refunds, taxes and customer support are yours to handle.
• Prices on your cards are plain text that you type. Keep them up to date, so your buyers aren’t surprised at checkout.

Things you can’t do

Your page can’t be used to:

• run scams, fake giveaways, or “log in here” pages that steal passwords,
• sell or promote anything illegal,
• post hate, harassment, threats, or adult content,
• spread malware, or link to sites that do,
• pretend to be someone you are not,
• spam people with your link.

We also don’t allow pages in these areas. Today that includes:

• gambling and betting,
• loans and debt repayment,
• investment and crypto schemes,
• get-rich-quick and multi-level marketing,
• adult services,
• weapons,
• drugs.

These lists are not complete. We can add to them at any time.

If we find a page breaking any of the rules above, we close your account, usually without warning, and you cannot create another one. Your page is taken down. We do this to keep LinksMango a place that honest creators and their visitors can trust. If you think we got it wrong, email help@linksmango.com and we’ll take another look.

Fair use

Links on your page are unlimited for normal use: add as many as you like.

We can limit or close accounts that look automated or abusive.

The LinksMango line

Your page carries none of our branding unless you switch it on yourself.

If you switch on the LinksMango line, a small “Made with LinksMango” line appears at the bottom of your page, and in return you unlock extras. The editor shows you what you get.

You can switch it off whenever you like. Nothing is deleted.

Price

LinksMango is free to use right now. If that ever changes, we’ll tell you by email well before anything changes, and you’ll always be able to leave.

You can also pay to keep the extras without the LinksMango line. You see the price before you pay. A paid plan renews automatically until you cancel. To cancel, email help@linksmango.com, and you keep the extras until the end of the time you paid for. Changed your mind? We refund any payment in full if you ask within 30 days of it. Nothing is deleted when a plan ends.

Our emails

When you sign up, we add you to our email list. We’ll send you a welcome, tips, and now and then a note about CartMango, our checkout tool for creators.

1 click on “unsubscribe” stops them, and your page keeps working. The details are in our Privacy policy.

If things go wrong

We work hard to keep your page up and fast, but we can’t promise it will never go down, never have a bug, or keep every visit count forever. The app is provided “as is”.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for lost sales, lost income, or other indirect losses caused by the app being unavailable or by a mistake on our side. If something goes wrong, email us and we’ll do our best to fix it quickly.

Leaving

You can leave any time. Email help@linksmango.com from your login address, and we’ll delete your account, your page, your pictures and your stats. We can also close accounts that break these terms, and a closed account cannot be replaced with a new one.

Changes to these terms

If we change something important, we’ll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using LinksMango after that, you are agreeing to the new version.

The legal bit

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
